How to.....

give something away:

On the left of the Giveaways page you will see a menu.  Just click New Ad and you will be guided through a short set of questions. You can upload a photo of your giveaway, so have one ready. At the end of the questions your advert will be created and available immediately. You can go back to edit it by clicking the Update link if you have made a mistake.

Your advert will remain in place for at least a couple of months. As soon as you have given the item away, please come back and delete your advert. Keep it clean & legal eh?

take an item:

Click the Contact link on the item description to send an e-mail to the donor, or telephone them if they have given a number. It is up to the receiver to arrange collection.

If you'd like to know when something new has been added you need to click the RSS link which looks like this: which you'll see near the giveaways listings.

When you click the link you will be able to bookmark the live feed from this site. Try adding it to the Toolbar on your Internet browser for easy access (Sounds difficult, but it's dead easy - go on - try it) Every time something new is added it will appear at the top of your list without you having to visit the C'est Gratuit site.
